Our ancestral house which is now in ruins but I love going there ( I have been there like twice or thrice) The farms surrounding it, ancient house.. there is something in that air, the feeling that generations of your ancestors have been there before you telling you of the lost glory :)

yes, even I love all the above places...especially Taliparambu and our illam...there is some unexplained feeling when I go there.Something that says..'Mine'. Though hardly visit the place.
you need to put some effort if you have a sincere desire.
Love Illam because I feel valliamma there always. Anyways will be resting in peace there only:-D
Two places to visit before I die is Dakshineshwar and Thanjavur (I am not joking here) and I am sure this will come true.
In US, everywhere there is this feel of artificiality and I don't prefer that.
